Join the Feadship Club

As yachtbrokers specialized in Dutch build yachts, we are more than familiar with Feadship and have been involved in many transactions of classic Feadships over the years. In particular, these classic Feadships have attraced yacht owners from all over the world, who appreciate classic style pedigree yachts. Some of them did unique refit projects that allowed these Dutch maritime historic yachts to continue in making history. We are pleased to see that many owners keep them in excellent condition, and we want to help spread the word of this fantastic initiative Feadship is launching.

The Feadship story
Based in the Netherlands and with roots dating back to 1849, Feadship is recognised as the world leader in the field of custom built superyachts. Each Feadship is defined by its superb craftsmanship and sets a high standard in every aspect of design, engineering, and construction.

To protect these high standards, Feadship has developed two programmes for Feadship owners. These programmes enable owners to connect with eachother and to give them the advice and guidance they need to care for their beloved yachts properly.

The Feadship Heritage Fleet

The Feadship Heritage Fleet is an association for owners of Feadships over thirty years old. The association has three key objectives:

  • UNITE owners of classic Feadship yachts
  • PROMOTE continuance of the Feadship yachting heritage
  • ORGANISE member events and offer services related to their yachts.

The inspiration for setting up an association for Feadship owners came in twofold. Firstly, everyone at Feadship is exceptionally proud of the heritage and the decades during which craftsmen built phenomenal motoryachts. As each custom Feadship raises the bar a little further in terms of innovation, the superyachts built in the past can fade from our memory. And yet there is an incredible number of Feadships still sailing that were launched more than three decades ago. As well as being a testimony to Feadship standards of construction, many of these yachts have been scrupulously maintained by their owners. They are very proud of the heritage of their yacht and still enjoy cruising the world in the style and comfort which is unique to the Feadship brand.

The second reason is the association’s objective to unite owners of classic Feadship yachts, organise events for its members and offer them services related to their yachts. The Feadship Heritage Association is a vehicle by which owners can share their passion for our maritime past with like-minded individuals.

Protect your Feadship’s DNA with the My Feadship programme

Owning a Feadship, classic or otherwise, is first and foremost a pleasure. The vast majority of owners also see it as a privilege and do everything in their power to maintain their yacht to the highest standard. Also, in the long run, it makes good financial sense to do so, as the value retention among properly cared for Feadships is almost certainly the highest in the yachting industry.

To support Feadship owners in this goal, a new globally operating company called Feadship Refit & Services has been set up. It combines all the refit, repair, service and after-sales activities of the Aalsmeer, Kaag, Makkum and (from May 2019) Amsterdam yards, as well as the refit design & engineering operations at Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.

A new client-support programme called ‘My Feadship’ has also been launched, with three pillars:

  • Feadship Rebuild: When possible, the best location for a refit is to bring a Feadship home to the yards in the Netherlands. Feadship Rebuild covers all major activities.
  • Feadship Services Network: Four top yards – Rybovich in the United States, Amico & Co in Italy, MB92 in Spain and FHF sponsors Monaco Marine –support refit activities elsewhere and offer Feadship-approved maintenance, repair & warranty work. This network will be ideal for FHF members.
  • Feadship Authentication Certificate: An industryfirst system with two levels (new builds and existing fleet) that confirms Feadship standards have been met.
